Probuilder Project

As part of the coursework in my Bachelor of Games and Interactive Environments I was tasked in creating multiple projects using the unofficial Unity level-design tool Probuilder.

The two projects consisited or a quick low-fidelity First-Person Shooter Arena & An Isometric Dungeon crawler using modular tiles.

FPS Arena map was done individually
Dungeon Crawler done in a group of 4.

Dungeon Crawler

The Dungeon crawler consisted of three isometric levels, one set inside a castle and the two in a forest village.

Our team was tasked with creating these three levels based on an existing video game that we could insert into the game as a custom-created campaign. We chose to based it off the GameBoy edition of Spyro: The Dragon in recognition of the recent re-released of Spyro: Reignited on the Playstation 4 at the time.

A major constraint of our work was that everything had to be created in Unity using the plugin ProBuilder. Not just the level itself but all of the associated clutter, gem pickups and npcs as well.

As part of the project I spent an evening re-creating the iconic Jade Dragon using ProBuilder tools.
